What is Choose Your Own Adventure? It is a story with many paths.

Normally, when we read, we start at Page One and continue until we come to the end.
We have no control over the outcome of the story.

But,with Choose Your Own Adventure,
You Decide
how the story will go.

There are also Hypertext Stories. These are online or on the screen. Why are they Hypertext?
Because we can click on Hyperlinks that will take us to different places in the story, and continue from there.

Choose Your Own Adventure and Hypertext Stories are almost exactly the same, except:

• Choose Your Own Adventue stories ask you to make a decision.
• Hpertext Stories have words or phrases that are hyperlinks, and you just click on them.
