7 Wonders of the Ancient World

  1. Save the document – Its name is the name of the wonder that you have chosen
  2. Be sure that you have two toolbars
  3. Set document margins as follows:
    • Top: 4
    • Bottom: .5
    • Left and right: .7
  4. Enter the FIRST PAGE HEADING as follows:
    • The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
    • The wonder that you have chosen
    • Blank line
    • Your name
    • Current date using the Insert Date and Time… command
  5. Center the heading
  6. Set the font to Small Caps
  7. Insert a Section Break. You are now on Page 2.
  8. Set the top margin to .5
  9. Insert Header as follows:
    • Right-align the text
    • Enter your name – hit Enter
    • Type “Page ”
    • Insert the Page Number starting at 1
    • Insert the Total Number of Pages
You are now ready to begin your writing.
Your report will contain the following topics:
  • Geography
    Where it is located
  • Description
    Appearance
  • History
    When it was created, who created it, why it was created, when and how it was destroyed
  • Personal Opinion
    Why this monument is important to study
All paragraphs should have a first line indent of .5.
  1. Insert a Section Break
  2. Create your bibliography - it does not have a header - remove the header
  3. Type Bibliography and center it
  4. Leave two blank lines
