- Save the document – Its name is the name of the person that you have chosen
- Be sure that you have two toolbars
- Set document margins as follows:
- Top: 4
- Bottom: .5
- Left and right: .7
- Enter the FIRST PAGE HEADING as follows:
- the name of your person is first
- subtitle (about the person)
- blank line
- your name
- current date using the Insert Date and Time… command
- Center the heading
- Set the font to Small Caps
- Starting the Next Page
- Insert a Section Break. You are now on Page 2.
- Set the top margin to .5
- Insert Header as follows:
- Right-align the text
- Enter your name – hit Enter
- Type “Page ”
- Insert the Page Number starting at 1
- Insert the Total Number of Pages
You are now ready to begin your writing.
Your report will contain the following topics:
- Period in History
- Major Contribution
- Why is this important?
All paragraphs should have a first line indent of .5.
- Insert a Section Break
- Create your bibliography - it does not have a header - remove the header
- Type Bibliography and center it
- Leave two blank lines
