What Is a BLOG?
BLOG - Short Form of Web Log

Blogs have become very, very popular since 2005. There are now thousands of them on the Internet. Blogs are websites that allow non-tech-savvy users to write what they want to write about, add pictures or videos if they want to, and place those writings on the Internet.

The content, or precisely what people write, is totally provided by the people themselves. Writing and putting that writing on a blog is called Posting. The subjects vary as much as people vary.

What is so wonderful about Blogs?
  • We do not need to have any special technical training in website design
  • Blogs are easy to create and to maintiain.
  • Blogs are interactive - People who read them have the opportunity to write (post) comments.
  • Blogs are very often Free.
So, what's not so good about Blogs? You have no idea of the credentials of the writer. This does not mean that the information is faulty in some way; it is merely a heads-up to be conscious of what you are reading.
