Tai Chi - Separation Of Foot

Separation of Right Foot

  1. Left foot - step to 10:00 - shift weight to left foot
  2. Left hand moves with body - crosses top of right wrist
  3. Bring ball of right foot to left instep - weight is still in left foot
  4. Body sinks deeper into left foot
  5. Gently kick right foot to 2:00
  6. As you kick, arms move outward at 10:00 & 2:00 - palms outward
Separation of Left Foot

  1. Right foot - step to 2:00 - shift weight to right foot
  2. Right hand moves with body - crosses top of left wrist
  3. Bring ball of left foot to right instep - weight is still in right foot
  4. Body sinks deeper into right foot
  5. Gently kick left foot to 10:00
  6. As you kick, arms move outward at 10:00 & 2:00 - palms outward
