Snake Creeps Down

Snake Creeps Down - Left Side

Body is facing straight - weight in right foot.

  1. Left foot - ball of foot next to right instep
  2. Body turns to 2:00 - make beak with right hand
  3. Left arm moves aross body next to right shoulder - palm facing 3:00
  4. Weight stays in right leg - sink lower
  5. Left foot steps to 9:00 as far as possible & comfortable
  6. Left arm circles down across body from right to left
  7. Body turns to 9:00
  8. As turn completes, shift weight to left leg - right toes lift to make movement easier - pivot slightly on right heel
  9. Right beak relaxes down behind small of back - fingertips facing upward
  10. Left arm moves upward to shoulder height - fingertips forward - palm facing right

Golden Cock Stands on One Leg - Right

  1. Right leg relaxes - right leg & arm move forward together
  2. Weight in left leg - right beak releases
  3. Right knee lifts to hip height
  4. Left arm comes up to throat height
  5. Right arm at groin height - palm facing right knee

Snake Creeps Down

Snake Creeps Down - Right Side

Body is facing straight - weight in left foot.

  1. Right foot - toes turn inward - ball of foot on floor
  2. Body turns to 10:00 - as body turns right foot comes down & arms open to sides, palms up - weight in both legs
  3. Left arm moves across body to right shoulder - left hand forms beak - sink weight into right leg
  4. Left arm, with hand beaked, moves aross body past left shoulder - right arm follows - palm facing left
  5. As arms move, left leg steps to 9:00 - weight shifts to left leg
  6. Body is as follows:
    • Legs wide with weight in left leg
    • Left arm at 9:00 - extended and beaked - right hand at left shoulder - palm facing 9:00
  7. Weight stays in left leg - sink lower
  8. Right foot steps to 3:00 as far as possible & comfortable
  9. Right arm circles down across body from left to right
  10. Body turns to 3:00
  11. As turn completes, shift weight to right leg - left toes lift to make movement easier - pivot slightly on left heel
  12. Left beak relaxes down behind small of back - fingertips facing upward
  13. Right arm moves upward to shoulder height - fingertips forward - palm facing left

Golden Cock Stands on One Leg - Left

  1. Left leg relaxes - left leg & arm move forward together
  2. Weight in right leg - left beak releases
  3. Left knee lifts to hip height
  4. Right arm comes up to throat height
  5. Left arm at groin height - palm facing left knee
